Mrs Shiels and the staff would
like to congratulate the children on achieving the Full International School
Award. Our Lady of Walsingham is now accredited for three years and hope to
continue producing work with an international flavour. Over the past 12
months we have celebrated European Day of Languages, Black History Month,
International week, studied other religions and our older pupils have
written to Spanish pen pals at our link school in both English and Spanish.
Our next project is to celebrate European Day of Languages (September 26th) and we will be doing this by singing Spanish songs in a special assembly to welcome our Spanish visitor, Mercedes, who will be spending a week at our school. We are very excited about her arrival. |
