Fairtrade Fortnight Fairtrade Fortnight took place in the Spring and our pupils spent some time learning about what exactly fair trade means. Some Year 6 pupils helped Lynn, our visitor, explain how some produce is traded fairly and some is not. We then continued our research back in class by playing games, looking at websites and producing art work based on the Fairtrade logo. |

Spanish
We are really enjoying our Spanish lessons every Tuesday and have put together a display to show our new vocabulary. Our display is called “El Café”. We even decided what we were going to order and wrote it down from the choice on the menu. |

We have been learning about our senses in both Science and RE and had lots of fun. The pupils have played senses games and are now more aware of all the things we can see, smell, hear, feel and taste. They realise how often we use more than one of these at a time and appreciate the value of each of our senses. We have also considered what life would be like without one of our senses and discussed things we would miss so much. |
