Little Dibbers

SEPTEMBER UPDATE!

Last years year 3 class took part in DIBBERS. Every week they would plant and tend to land and the results were fantastic!

They grew potatoes, onions and garlic, YUMMY!

Here, are budding gardeners Jodie, George and Audrey showing off their work!!

These pictures are from a Year 3 project called 'Little Dibbers'. The children go to the local allotments for half a day each week and learn the basic skills of looking after plants and shrubs there. Jobs they do include raking, watering, weeding, planting seeds, taking care of the poly tunnel etc. The children certainly get a lot out of it and its a great cross curricular link too.
