Residential to Skipton

Eshton Grange

In June Year 3 went on a residential trip to Eshton Grange near Skipton in North Yorkshire. As this residential trip was so popular, the children went in two groups. The first group went Monday -Tuesday and the second Wednesday- Thursday.

For many children it was their first night away from home, but all coped very well and had a very enjoyable experience. Activities included - Feeding the animals and holding more unusual animals such as snakes and lizards, a nature walk, two play areas, an evening talent show and disco and the most popular activity which was the outdoor swimming pool!

The trip was a great success! A big thank you to Mrs Thomas who works very hard to find and organise residential trips for all year groups in the school and also to all the staff who accompany the children making these trips possible
