Champions!

St. Cuthbert's girl's football team who are now League and Cup double winners following the Girls North Cup Final when, the girls ran out 4-0 winners in a convincing display; goals scored by; Sarah (2), Bailey and Hayley. The team is now looking to make it a treble winning season with the trip to Anfield for the 7-a-side Cup Final (see below).

This is Hayley (Y5) who plays for Liverpool Ladies FC. Hayley received the Players' Player of the Season Award and brought her trophies to show everyone in school. Well done Hayley; a wonderful achievement!

...and winners!

In April the girls' football team reached the finals of the Liverpool Girls' 7-a-side Cup and consequently appeared in the grand final at Anfield. The girls were clear winners beating Freshfields in the Final. A few days later in school, the team was presented with some special medals for their achievements and re-presented (below) with the Liverpool Cup.
