Anti-Bullying Week

All classes throughout the school have been discussing and taking part in activities for anti-bullying week. To finish the week we had a school assembly where all of the children got together to show everyone what they had been doing. The foundation unit had been singing songs all to do with being friends and the importance of having friends. Y1/2 had constructed poems and posters about their good friends. Y3 look specifically at bullying through mobile phones. They decided to create 'nice' text messages and thought about what they could include in a nice text message. Y4 created anti-bullying super-heroes and showed everyone their strengths and how they can help to stop bullying. Year 5/6 looked at cyber-bullying and the effects of it. They wrote acrostic poems to help give people advice as to how best to stop and prevent cyber bullying from happening and what to do if it ever happens to you or someone close to you.
