Pupils of the Month

Awards of the Week  UPDATED REGULARLY

In October, Annie and Lucy Worley received the Spirit of St Cuthbert's award. Both girls were nominated because of their wonderful efforts helping others. Annie and Lucy went on a pilgrimage to Lourdes in Easter 201 and both girls were very caring to others on this pilgrimage. The two often bake cakes and take them into nursing homes. Last year they used their Easter money to buy gifts for the residents of the care home. These are two very generous girls who truly deserve this award.

Family SEAL workshops at St Sebastian's and St Cuthbert's.

In June parents from across the federation have taken part in a family SEAL course. They looked at their own feelings, having empathy for others and how to change their feelings for the better.
This was a wonderful course which gave our parents strategies for dealing with their feelings and emotions. It gave them a closer insight into the impact of SEAL on their children.
All of our parents were awarded with a parent pack and certificate at the end of the course. As a special treat, on the last session they were invited to Healing Spaces in Kensington where they had a hand massage and relaxation.
