The Federated team of St Cuthbert's and St Sebastian's qualified to play in the 'European Players Foundation World Cup.' 

The mixed team played brilliantly and should have won the competition which they lost by one goal. Unfortunately due to the erupting volcano many ex-European World Cup players were unable to attend the event as had been promised. Nevertheless, the Federation team were a credit to everyone and we feel very proud of the way they represented both schools.
