Years 5 & 6 Greek Day |

In November Years 5 and 6 from St. Cuthbert's and St. Sebastians joined to celebrate their Greek Day. This is an annual festival that takes place to coincide with the end of the Greeks topic. Some of the activities the children took part in were pottery, designing plates, dancing, food tasting and orienteering. The day was topped off by an Olympic Games event in which groups battled it out in sports like marathon, sprint, javelin, discus -and there was even a chariot race! |
