Visit to St. George's Hall

The trip to St. George's was for members of Year 5 and Year 6. This visit ran in conjunction with the Victorian topic the year 6's were doing last year. We were invited to St. George's Hall by Mr Ball, a specialist teacher who has been doing lots of work with our school.
During the afternoon we were able to walk through some of the wonderful rooms in the Hall, which was a sight all on its own. The afternoon was based around some pictures the children had been previously studying (taken from Victorian Liverpool). It was a drama afternoon where the pictures were brought to life by actors and the children were able to sample the day to day lives of people in Liverpool during this time, as well as ask them lots of questions.

The trip took us to the Liverpool library as well as the Walker Art Gallery. A wonderful time was had by all children and staff who attended.
