100 Years Old!

Whole School Birthday Party.

On Friday 8 May 2009, St. Sebastian's School celebrated its 100th birthday with a whole-school birthday party! The weather was quite windy, so we decided to set up long trestle tables in the school hall, so managing to fit everyone in! Each child had a party bag of food which they enjoyed. We sang Happy Birthday and some children blew out the candles on the seven cakes specially made to show the school crest and motto. Then the children went out onto the yard, where an ice-cream van was waiting. Everyone received an ice-cream or lolly! Fr Kelly was well enough to attend, much to everyone's delight.
