Visit to Hope University

These photos are of Year 1 / 2 and pupils in Year 5 / 6 who were invited to participate in a 'Modern Foreign Languages Festival' at Hope University in Taggart Avenue. Year 1 / 2 performed the song, 'There was an Old Woman who Swallowed a Fly' and Year 5 / 6 performed a Spanish play involving various members of Liverpool football team having to go to the A & E Department of the hospital for treatment. Both performances were excellent, high quality Spanish accents and pronunciation, great for a laugh and wonderful acting. Thanks to Mr Burke and Miss Davies who wrote and directed the Spanish play and thanks to Mrs Mooney for inspiring the younger children to sing and perform in Spanish with such confidence. Well done to all the children and thanks to our Spanish staff, Miss Suzanna and Signora Grady for their input and support.
