Foundation Two
and Year One went on a visit to Calderstones Park in October. Everyone
enjoyed the lovely weather and there was great excitement about
feeding the ducks and seeing some squirrels.
The children enjoyed the bus ride to the park and we were met by Park
Ranger Paul who told the children lots of interesting information
about the park, the animals and nature in general. They were able to
look at some unusual trees in the park, feed the ducks and pigeons!
Everyone made a wish around a magic tree and we did manage to see a
squirrel.
The children had a lovely time and learnt lots of new things. Thanks
to the PTA for subsidising the buses for the trip. |
