St. Sebastian's Successes

St. Sebastian's entered eight solo pianists from 6-8 years and guitar, violin and clarinet soloists all were commended on their performances and came away with certificates.

St. Sebastian's School Choir, consisting of 60 infant and junior children ages ranging from 5-11 years, took part in the Primary School class singing with two contrasting pieces, 'Til There Was You' a song which the choir sang in English and Spanish and 'A Windmill in Old Amsterdam'. The choir achieved 4th place out of a total of 11 schools.

In the hymn singing category involving four schools we achieved third place and a bronze medal singing ,'Seek Ye First,'
We won first place and a gold medal in the religious singing class with, 'Father in My Life I See'.
The choir was commended in all three of the classes for convincing performances.
