MARCH 2010 At the Field Of Dreams Nursery we can proudly say we have been fully accredited with Stage 3 Quality Assurance. After
working extremely hard for 3 years and gaining Stages 1 & 2 we are now
fully accredited as a setting which provides quality care in a lively and
stimulating environment. We are only 1 of 2 settings within Liverpool to
be fully accredited with Quality Assurance. Local MP Jane Kennedy attended the presentation of this award and many other members from the local community were present also. Having this award will ensure that Field of Dreams continues to receive the proper recognition for the very high standard of education and care we are providing for children in our community Parents looking for a first class nursery continue to know that Field of Dreams meets the highest standards. This accreditation is a tribute to the professionalism and commitment of our staff. |
| An Ofsted report on St. Sebastian’s strongly recommended the need to expand the school premises; more space was needed. There was substantial amount of spare land adjacent to the school and this was ultimately gifted by the Convent who owned it for educational purposes. The building (pictured right) is a listed one and subsequently has been converted for several purposes connected with St. Sebastian’s: A new Foundation Stage Unit (Nursery and Reception classes). An Art Centre & Conference Room. A Computer Suite Sporting facilities These facilities have shared usage with the local community. Donations have also come from Kensington Regeneration group; Space for Sport & Arts; DfES; St. Sebastian’s Parish. |
