Centenary Tree & Time Capsule

The Past; the Present; the Future.

St. Sebastian's children went to the Presbytery to ask Fr Kelly to bless a Centenary oak tree, which he did obligingly, as he was not well enough to come up to the school. Back at school,  a short ceremony was held to plant the Centenary Tree along with a time capsule. The theme was St Sebastian's: The past; the present; the future.

One of the parents, Mr Agnew, who was a gardener, prepared some land for this and helped plant the tree & capsule. Each class placed something inside the capsule, which they felt St Seb's pupils of the future would like to see.
